Video tutorials from master mentors in the "School of National Crafts" educational project have been published on YouTube. Anyone can learn traditional Kazakh national craft techniques for free, learn the secrets of their craft from experienced specialists, and independently master the basics of various types of applied art.
The project was implemented by the Creative Industries Development Fund with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As part of the project, 10 masters of national crafts trained 208 participants aged 8 to 20. The educational program covered 10 areas, including jewelry, wood and leather processing, felt felting, ceramics, carpet weaving, and other traditional applied arts.
Publishing video tutorials expands access to the masters' knowledge, promotes national cultural heritage, and preserves traditional craft skills for future generations.
