Madina Eralieva is an outstanding Kazakh singer who has left a bright mark in the history of national stage and folk art. Her pure her voice (coloratura soprano) and soulful performance of songs made her a favorite of listeners.
Born in 1954 Kyzylorda region, graduated from the music department of the Kyzylorda Pedagogical School, and then the Kazakh Women's Pedagogical Institute. Her career began at the Institute of Literature and Art, but she gained true fame as a soloist of the Almaty Regional Philharmonic, where she worked until the end of her life.
Tragically died in a car accident in 2000 but her name continues to live in the hearts of fans. A street in Almaty and the Palace of Culture are named in her honor in Kyzylorda, where a museum in memory of the singer is also opened.
She was awarded many awards, including the title of Honored Artist of the Kazakh SSR and the Republic Kazakhstan, as well as the Certificate of Honor of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Books have been written about her life and work, including “Madina” (2002) and “Kazaktyn Madinasy” (2013).
Madina Eralieva’s creative legacy is not only songs, but also her contribution to the development of Kazakh musical culture, inspiring new generations of performers.
