Kudaibergen Sultanbaev

Kudaibergen Sultanbaev is an outstanding Kazakh actor, theater teacher and public figure, whose name is forever inscribed in the history of national culture. His contribution to the development of theater, cinema and the humorous genre remains invaluable.

He graduated from the acting department of the Kazakh State Institute of Arts in 1974, after which he became an actor at the Kazakh State Academic Drama Theater named after M. O. Auezov. He worked in the theater for almost 20 years, creating vivid stage images that the audience loved. class="leading-7 [&:not(:first-child)]:mt-6" dir="ltr" style="text-align: start;">Kudaibergen Sultanbaev gained real national fame thanks to his participation in the humorous program "Tamasha", where he not only played, but also performed producer. His sparkling humor, artistry and unique presentation made him one of the most beloved comedians in Kazakhstan.

In addition to acting, he is active engaged in pedagogy, passing on his skills to young talents at the Kazakh National Academy of Arts.

His merits were noted with many awards, among which titles “Honored Artist of the Kazakh SSR” (1983) and “People’s Artist of Kazakhstan” (1996). In 2008 he was awarded the Order “Kurmet” for his outstanding contribution to art.
