Marat Bisengaliev is a famous Kazakh violinist and conductor who has become famous on the world stage.
Born in 1962 in Alma-Ata. Graduated from the Republican Music School named after K. Baiseitova, then studied at the Almaty Conservatory and the Moscow Conservatory, where he completed his postgraduate studies under the direction of Valery Klimov. In 1989, he founded the Altyn-Alma chamber orchestra in Alma-Ata. That same year, he went on tour in England, where his talent was noticed by representatives of the recording industry. In the following years, he released 14 albums with the world's largest labels, including Naxos and Sony. He has toured extensively in 35 countries, and in 2006 he founded the first professional symphony orchestra in India.
In 2011, he performed at Buckingham Palace for Prince Charles. Bisengaliev was recognized as the “Musical Symbol of the Decade” of Kazakhstan and awarded the Sony BMG Gold Disc. In 2017, he celebrated his 55th birthday with a series of concerts, and also organized a large-scale show “Energy of Sound” in Astana.
