Ulytau region is a region in the central part of Kazakhstan. It borders with Kostanay region in the North, Karagandy region in the East, Zhambyl region in the Southeast, Turkistan and Kyzylorda regions in the South, and Aktobe region in the West. Major cities: Zhezkazgan, Karazhal and Satpayev.
