"Live, Believe, Love": the exhibition of artists from the "Tan Sholpan" Foundation will open in Almaty
In the State Museum of Arts of RK named after Abylkhan Kasteev on January 17 to the 25th anniversary of the International Independent Women's Fund of artists "Tan Sholpan" will open an exhibition "Live, Believe, Love".
The founder and leader of the organization - a member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a member of the Eurasian Union of Artists Zhamilya Taken.
The anniversary exhibition has a multilayered, multisyllabic name "Live, Believe, Love", which is so peculiar to the delicate female creative soul. The participants of the organization build their own artistic picture of the world, in which the timeless events of human life - happiness, the joy of meetings, motherhood and much more. They plan to create a gallery, creative workshop "Tan Sholpan".
The first exhibition of the foundation was held in 1998 in the gallery "Tengri Umai". At that time the organization was a group of enthusiasts from 11 female artists. Among them were Zhamilya Taken, Aigul Khakimzhanova, Sangul Karzhaubaeva, Zhanat Koshen, Sarvar Nakisbekova, Saule Zhumasheva, Ardak Yusupova, Gulzhanat Kabizhanova, Khalida Myrzakhmetova, Fatima Zhumasheva and an artist from Canada. And already in 1999 the first International exhibition followed in Ankara (Turkey). After a long break, the foundation resumed its work in 2019. However, during this period, the artists did not leave their creative activities, presenting their works in other organizational formats, including exhibitions of the Union of Artists.
Now the "Tan Sholpan" Foundation unites more than 70 professional artists from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Austria, Germany, Canada, USA, having higher artistic education, working in different kinds of art: painting, graphics, decorative and applied art, sculpture. The names of many of them are familiar from city, republican and international exhibitions, they are all united by the search for their own artistic language, expressiveness of form, plasticity, color and composition.
The purpose of the organization is to promote the work of talented, extraordinary, creative women working in different types and genres of art in the domestic and international art space.
