Scientists of the National Center for Manuscripts and Rare Books during a business trip to the Kyzylorda region discovered valuable manuscripts and rare books covering the period of the XVIII-XX centuries, the Press Service of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan reports. Among the 24 works are manuscripts on Sharia written at the end of the XVIII century, the books by Ahmet Yasawi "Divani Hikmet", published in the Kazan publishing house in 1904 and 1912.

Scientists also managed to find the Quran and its commentary in the Turkic language, "Jami ar-Rumuz", published in Egypt in 1909-1910, "Badai al-Sanai fi Tayrab al-Sharai" ("Marvelous arts in the ordering of the way"), the sixth volume of the book "Sharkh Kanz ad Dakaiq", dated 1898, the collection "Kanz ad Dakaiq" (The Treasure of accuracy), the wisdom of Sufi Allayar, published in Tashkent and the book "Nur al gashykin" (Sufism). All the works were transferred to the foundation of the National Center.

Experts also supplemented the collection with the work "Haftiyak Sharif", a lithographic print published in Kazan, a book on Fiqh, "Ghiyas al-luga" (dictionary).

"All the unique works were stored in chests, in the attics of the inhabitants of the region. They are poorly preserved and in need of restoration. Disinfection and disinfection of documents is currently being carried out in the restoration and conservation laboratory. Then we will start the restoration and launch the process of making copies," Kamshat Parimbekova, head of the department of the research organization of the National Center, shared her plans.

The delegation visited state libraries, museums and archival institutions. The center's specialists will continue to search and study the national heritage held by private individuals.
