It bears to remind that Kazakh delegation presented Kazakhcinema stand for the participants, which reflected the information about Kazakhstan’s film production, activities of the Center for Support of National Cinema, as well as future projects. 

Besides that, Kazakhcinema focused on the popularization of the subsidy system of foreign film production (rebate), which is enshrined in the Law of Kazakhstan “On Cinematography”.

The main purpose of participation in the “Marche Du Film” is to attract the partners for joint projects, as well as to present the domestic film locations for foreign film producers.

It is worth noting that Kazakhstan annually participates in the international film market. This event is one of the most important events in the world of the film industry and will last until May 25, 2024.

(Marché du Film) is a part of the Cannes Film Festival program, dedicated to the sale and purchase of distribution rights for the edited and planned films, as well as production and presentation of projects. Officially registered in 1959, Marché du Film annually attracts over 12,000 film industry professionals, multimillion-dollar deals are made on it, and the total turnover ranges from 600,000 to a billion US dollars.
