Students of the Astana Opera International Opera Academy are preparing for the premiere of the comic opera "The Bell, or the Pharmacist's Wedding Night".

The production will take place at the theater at the end of April.  

For the first time, the famous opera teacher, pianist and conductor Alessandro Benigni will work with the soloists. The piano coach was invited specially from Italy to conduct a master class.

During the training, Benigni will place accents, work out the phrasing and style of "bel canto" with the soloists.

Alessandro Benigni has been teaching at the Academy of Lyric Art in Osimo (Italy) for more than 20 years and has worked with world opera performers. As a pianist and music director, he collaborated with famous theaters and festivals in Europe, Japan and other countries.

Now the maestro will share his invaluable knowledge with Kazakhstani soloists.
