A new project by Zhania Aubakirova and Gaukhar Murzabekova
The joint project "Bach.Chopin" was presented in Astana by People's Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gaukhar Murzabekova and Zhania Aubakirova. The concert in the capital was held on the stage of the Astana Opera Theater with the participation of the State Classical Music Ensemble Camerata of Kazakhstan.

The famous artists, Zhania Aubakirova and Gauhar Murzabekova, after many years, decided to combine their efforts and talents again by performing in a duet.

For the first time, they gained such experience after graduating from the Moscow Conservatory. They passed the toughest selection among the strongest musicians from all over the Soviet Union for the right to represent the country at an international competition in France and became its laureates.

"I have always been interested in the creative appearance of Gaukhar Murzabekova; both when we performed with her at joint concerts, and when Gaukhar Kurmanbekovna created the Camerata of Kazakhstan chamber orchestra. It was fascinating for me to learn about the peculiarities of quartet and ensemble performance, which Gauhar generously shared with me in the process of preparing for concerts, and later with the young musicians of the orchestra. As a result, thanks to the great pedagogical talent, experience in chamber music, knowledge of the basics and subtle secrets of mastery received from great teachers, a unique team was created, widely known in the country and abroad - the Camerata Orchestra of Kazakhstan, Cooperation with the team is a great joy for musicians," said Zhania Aubakirova.

For several decades, J.Aubakirova and G.Murzabekova have been creating projects for the development of high standards of piano and violin schools in Kazakhstan, raising the culture of symphonic and chamber performance. The concert "BACH.CHOPIN" is part of their musical and educational initiative.

"Each piece from the repertoire is different in importance, well-known compositions, but performers always find some kind of highlight and a reason to turn to them. As for Bach or Chopin, it is always a pleasure and, at the same time, a mystery for both listeners and performers," said Zhania Aubakirova.

The program of the musical evening included a concert by J. S. Bach for piano and chamber orchestra No. 5 in F minor, a concert for piano and string orchestra No. 2 by F. Chopin arranged for piano and chamber orchestra, "Capriole Suite" by the British composer Peter Warlock, serenade for string orchestra in C major by P. I. Tchaikovsky. Pavel Romanenko, the conductor and winner of international competitions, was invited especially for the concert.

"Zhania Aubakirova and I know firsthand and understand what professional support means for a musician. Over the years, we have been able to visit literally every corner of our vast country with concerts.

The goal of our joint project "BACH.CHOPIN" is to creatively help regions maintain their professional level. Knowing well from our personal concert experience that regions always need attention and professional support, we understand that we have all the necessary resources for this. The project will include not only classical music concerts, but also master classes, round tables, and meetings dedicated to methodological issues of educating young musicians. The role of the classical music ensemble "Camerata of Kazakhstan" in this project is a reference model for understanding what any musician in our country can strive for. This is a vivid example of the highest professional level, endless technical improvement and work on literally the smallest details." - said the founder and artistic director of the state ensemble "Camerata of Kazakhstan" Gaukhar Murzabekova.

With the joint project "Bach.Chopin" J.Aubakirova and G.Murzabekova plan to perform in many regions of Kazakhstan.

The next concert will take place on April 30, at 19.00 – at the Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theater named after Abai, Almaty. Keep an eye on the poster.
