One of the main events will be the Double Reed Music Festival, which will be held on May 11 and 12. (Double Reed is only two instruments, oboe and bassoon). The chamber orchestra of the theater will perform under the baton of Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Abzal Mukhitdin. The festival will feature works by classical composers such as A. Vivaldi, V.A. Mozart and others, as well as contemporary authors, including special arrangements by Kazakhstani authors, including "Jaidarman" (arranged for two oboes) and "Akku Dombra" by Alibi Abdinurov.

Young talents will have the opportunity to prove themselves at the Republican Festival of Children's creativity "Bala Music Fest". This festival will be held on May 9, 10 and 19 and will bring together young performers from different cities of Kazakhstan, who have already been awarded international awards. Young musicians will present to the audience a wide repertoire from Baroque to classical.

In addition to the festivals, other significant musical events will take place in May. On May 5 and 30, the evenings from the Musical Alliance cycle will present works from J.S. Bach to A. Schnittke. On May 15, the audience will be able to enjoy the "Great Opera Arias", and on May 17, immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Spain at the Flamenco Evening "Alex Geyer Flamenco Project".

The May music marathon will end on May 29 with the evening of vocal music "I believe: I love...", which will be dedicated to the 225th anniversary of Alexander Pushkin.
