According to the Agreement, cultural centers will be established in the capitals of both countries - in Astana and Beijing. These institutions will function as non-profit organizations accredited by the respective states and operating within the framework of the legislation of the host country.

The main purpose of the Kazakhstan Cultural Center in Beijing is to promote and popularize Kazakhstan's culture and tourism potential abroad.

"During a trip to the PRC on February 25-27, we familiarized ourselves with the location. Kazakhstan Cultural Center in Beijing, with an area of 730 square meters, will be located in the city of Beijing at the address "ART-ZONE 798". The first floor will be allocated for a museum exposition dedicated to the historical and cultural heritage of the Kazakh people, and the second floor - for an exhibition area, including a conference hall, reading room and library", - said the Minister of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva at the plenary session of the Majilis.

The main activities of the Kazakhstan Cultural Center in Beijing include:opening a reading room and co-working zone, providing access to Kazakhstan's national electronic library, media and websites of educational institutions; conducting Kazakh language courses; organizing stationary and traveling exhibitions on Kazakhstan's history, introducing a virtual museum (3D tours); holding conferences, seminars, symposiums and performances by Kazakh art groups and performers; and organizing screenings of Kazakh films.
