Concert to the 340th anniversary of Bach will be held at the Astana Opera Theater
On the stage of the Chamber Hall named after Kulyash Baiseitova in the theater "Astana Opera" will present the continuation of the cycle "Musical Alliance".
This year it will open with a concert dedicated to the 340th anniversary of Johann Sebastian Bach, one of the world's greatest composers. Listeners will encounter the immortal sonatas and partitas of the great master.
J.S. Bach's sonatas and partitas for solo violin are considered the pinnacle of Baroque compositional art. These works, written in the early 18th century, still amaze with their emotional content and technical complexity. Every chord and passage in these works contains the composer's philosophical reflections on life, faith and human purpose.
The project brings together the creative forces of well-known violinists in the republic, including Anel Shakirova, Akmaral Zhangazina, Madina Kapeu, Erkebulan Saparbaev and Asel Zhakiyanova. Musicians will perform headed by the author and ideological inspirer of the project Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Bagdat Abilhanov. By the way, recently Bagdat Abilkhanov became the first degree laureate of the prestigious International Competition of Performing Arts "Grand Art Express - China" in the nomination "Instrumental Art. Violin" nomination.
Each subsequent concert in the series will traditionally be a real musical event, as well as an opportunity to learn more about the context in which the works were created. During the concerts, Astana Opera's musicologists and presenters help the audience to better understand the composers' intentions by offering informative mini-lectures accompanying the artists' performances.
The Musical Alliance series was born in 2024 and gives the audience the joy of meeting domestic and foreign musicians. And its main goal is to popularize the national and world classics.
