An ancient Indian legend on the capital's stage
On the magnificent stage of the Great Hall of the Astana Opera Theater, on April 26 and 27, the audience will be immersed in the world of ancient Indian legends and mysterious temple dancers in a romantic fairy tale based on the legendary ballet La Bayadere by Ludwig Minkus.

At the Astana Opera, the choreographic masterpiece is staged by the artistic director of the ballet troupe of the theater of the People's Artist of Russia Altynai Asylmuratova, who shone in the title role of bayadere Nikiya on many famous stages of the world and her performance remains exemplary to this day.

In her productions, Altynai Asylmuratova adheres to the position of carefully preserving the best examples of ballet classics and it is an excellent experience for the troupe's artists that this performance is transmitted to them by one of the best performers of the role of Nikiya of the Bayadere ballet. /By the way, the first production of the legendary ballet took place back in 1877 at the Bolshoi Theater in St. Petersburg/

Famous soloists of the Astana Opera Theater will bring their talent and emotional depth to each image. The unique images of bayadere Nikiya, the brave warrior Solor and the proud Princess Gamzatti will appear on the stage, which will be personified by talented artists Aigerim Beketayeva, Madina Unerbaeva, Baktiyar Adamzhan, Yerkin Rakhmatullayev, Anel Rustemova and Shugyla Adepkhan.

"La Bayadere" is not only a spectacle, but also an immersion into deep themes of love, betrayal and death, revealed in subtle acting nuances and expressive choreography. The act of shadows, which is the main focus of the performance, captivates with its exquisite beauty and inner depth, drama, allowing the artists to reveal new facets of their characters and modern sound.

Bayadere is one of the few performances where there is everything that can only be found in a ballet production: dramatic depth, a wide space for creativity in acting, this is the subtle world of oriental drama, and love, and betrayal, and death. In addition, there are many complex elements laid down here, for which it is necessary to have impeccable technique. It is also important that this ballet has the purest classics – the third act, the act of shadows. This is the highlight of the ballet "Bayadere", this is why it is complex and beautiful," says Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Yerkin Rakhmatullayev. - This is exactly the kind of performance that you can perform many times and find something new for yourself each time. At the same time, with each appearance on the stage, you grow more and more, develop and find for yourself some fresh colors and nuances in the interpretation of the image of Solor, or Gamzatti, or Nikiya, and so on. It is in the act of shadows that I always find new touches in terms of the inner state of my character. Having lost his beloved, Solor blames himself for not having time to hear her forgiveness.  "Bayadere" can be endlessly watched, inspired and enjoyed. And for every artist who takes part in it, this is a great career development."

Together with the magical music of the symphony orchestra, the stunning scenery of the temple in the Indian jungle and the magnificent palace of the raja, costumes and virtuoso choreography, the performance "Bayadere" promises to leave an unforgettable impression on every viewer.

This is a true celebration for connoisseurs of ballet art, which will give a sea of unforgettable emotions and inspiration, allowing each viewer to touch the beautiful.
