Borovoye is one of the pearls of nature in Kazakhstan, located in the northern part of the country, 70 kilometers west of the city of Kokshetau and 250 kilometers from the capital. 3. Alpine skiing and snowmobiles in winter. In winter Borovoye turns into a great place for skiing vacation. Alpine skiing tracks and snowmobile routes attract winter sports enthusiasts, creating ideal conditions for active recreation. Such bases as the Republican ski base with ski jumps and the CSKA ski base are located on the territory of Burabai.
Water sports
Lake Borovoye provides opportunities for various types of water activities. Tourists can rent boats, kayaks and catamarans or simply enjoy swimming in the clear water. On the northern part of this lake, between the Kokshe and Temirtau mountains, there is a stone "island" called Zhumbaktas. This rock is one of the most famous sights in Burabai.
