The State concert organization "Qazaqconcert" named after Rosa Baglanova was established in 1960 on the basis of the Zhambyl State Philharmonic Society in Almaty. She resigned from the Philharmonic on July 15, 1960 by decision of the Ministry of Culture. Honored Worker of the Kazakh SSR, composer, dombrist Makalim Koishybayev was appointed the first artistic director of Qazaqconcert.
The "Qazaqconcert" included prominent figures of Kazakh culture, such as Sh. Zhienkulova, M. Yerzhanov, J. Omarova and others.
In the period from the 60s to the 80s of the XX century, concert brigades and ensembles were deployed at the creative base of Qazaqconcert, which glorified Kazakhstani art on the world stage. In 2016, Qazaqconcert moved to Astana and received the status of a state concert organization of the Committee of Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Currently, the organization operates in the central concert hall "Qazaqstan", which is one of the most beautiful architectural structures in the CIS countries and is equipped with modern technologies.

Building "Qazaqstan" named after Rosa Baglanova - the central concert hall of Qazaqstan is one of the largest concert halls in the world. The building was opened on December 16, 2009 and is located on the left bank of the Yesil River, next to the residence of the President of Akorda.
The hall "Qazaqstan" is importantan architectural structure of the Republic of Kazakhstan and has versatility and perfect acoustics. It is designed for 3,500 seats and has an excellent acoustic effect thanks to the atrium, made in the form of a musical instrument - dombra.
The building also houses an orchestra pit 4.5 meters deep, which has separate exits for orchestra musicians. There is also a choir pit with 7 choir tiers and a large-format cinema screen measuring 14x8 meters.
The acoustic system of the hall includes 22 distributor lobes capable of achieving the perfect sound of a concert, and special wall curtains with an acoustic effect.
"Qazaqconcert" is a platform for performances by famous artists and creative teams of Kazakhstan, as well as foreign stars.

In 2021, "Qazaqconcert" was named after the People's Artist of Kazakhstan, national hero Rosa Baglanova.
"Qazaqconcert" presents all genres: folk art, classics, pop. The modern look of musical art is represented by popular representatives of the national scene R. Rymbaeva, A. Nurmagambetova, J. Iskakova, K. Mahan, etc. Folklore ensemble "Astana sazy", ethno-folklore ensemble "TURAN", State Trio "FORTE TRIO", Kazakh State Symphony Orchestra, State Theater "ASTANA MUSICAL", vocal and instrumental ensemble "Saz&Soul", etc. There is a center for traditional art "Halyk Kazynasy", a department of "Classical art".
Qazaqconcert also organizes and conducts various music competitions and festivals, participates in international projects and cooperates with the world's leading artists and collectives.
One of the main achievements of Qazaqconcert is its active participation in the organization and holding of the World Exhibition EXPO-2017 in Astana. Within the framework of the exhibition, many concerts, performances, festivals and other cultural events were held, which were recognized both in Kazakhstan and abroad.
So "Qazaqconcert" plays an important role in the development and popularization of musical art in Kazakhstan, representing a variety of genres and talents of musicians.
