Over the past decades, Kazakhstan has undergone impressive changes in various fields, and one of the most outstanding is the emergence of the project "100 new Faces" – individuals whose talents, ideas and achievements have a significant impact on the society and shape a new reality of the country. This project is an exceptional platform, where talented individuals from different fields of public activity share their experiences, creativity and ideas, inspiring the new generations and creating positive changes in the country.

An aim of the project is to highlight the diversity and talent of the Kazakhs in a wide variety of fields, from art and science to the entrepreneurship and activism. This ambitious and important initiative step was made possible through close cooperation with members of the public, media partners as well as the government agencies.

For the participation in the project, individuals provide information about their achievements, experiences and goals, after which their stories become available on the project platform. This creates a bridge between successful people and society, allowing others to learn from their experiences, be inspired and strive for their own achievements.

The first look at the "100 new faces" inevitably leads to a variety of areas in which they manifest themselves. The sphere of art and culture, science and technology, entrepreneurship and education – each of them finds its representative in this multitude of people. This indicates that Kazakhstan is successfully developing in various fields, providing the fruitful grounds for the growth of talented and enterprising individuals.

In particular, an artist Aigerim Karibayeva can be singled out among the representatives of art, whose illustrations have become the real works reflecting a richness of culture and history of Kazakhstan. Aigerim became a participant of the “100 new Faces” in 2021. After that, she collaborated with the international exhibition “Expo 2022 – Dubai”. Also, her illustrations are decorated with domestic chocolate, produced in Kazakhstan.

Among the new faces, there will be those who have contributed to the preservation and development of national traditions, allowing them to become relevant in the modern world.

In the field of science and technology, Kazakhstan is proud of its scientists, such as Kaisar Tabynov and engineers like Sanzhar Taizhan, who create the innovative technologies and solve the complex problems. Kaisar Tabynov is a leading Kazakh scientist, specializing in the development, study and introduction into production of various vaccines for the humans, animals and birds. In 2021, he developed one of Kazakhstan’s vaccines against the coronavirus Naruvax-C19. After that, Kaisar took up the development of vaccines against various types of allergies.

Sanzhar Taizhan is a young and quite successful Kazakh engineer, showing great promise. Sanzhar and his team are involved in modeling various electric motors, which contribute to high energy savings in Kazakhstan. These and other individuals become the faces of a new technological revolution, contributing to the development of the country as a center of technological progress in the country.

In the field of entrepreneurship, the emergence of one hundred new faces means a dynamic development of the business and innovative startups. Sharing their experience and knowledges, the entrepreneurs become the catalysts for economic growth and create the jobs, contributing to the prosperity of society.

Also, an education finds its heroes among one hundred new faces of Kazakhstan. The scientists, educators and educational leaders introduce the innovative teaching methods, developing educational programs and educating a new generation of the Kazakh citizens that are ready for the challenges of the future.

Besides that, “One hundred new faces of Kazakhstan” program is not only an individual project, but a symbol of the success and diversity of the country. Their talents and achievements form the basis for prosperity and development in various fields. Together they create an image of a modern, dynamic and innovative Kazakhstan.

The contest “100 new faces of Kazakhstan” is held annually. On March 27, 2023, the new winners of the “100 new faces” contest were determined in the capital, they were awarded with the badges and diplomas. Overall, 200 people from different regions applied for the participation. At the initiative of the public association “Jana Qazaqstan”, the next wave of the competition will start soon, the results of which will be announced in the spring of 2025.
