The film "The Last Verdict" tells about these tragic facts, about how he lived, what he believed in, how he made friends, how he loved. Only fateful peripetias of the life of a great personality against the background of the history of the country flash before the viewer.

Despite all the hardships of life and cruel trials, he remained true to his life principles and beliefs until his last breath. The film also shows the last moments of Akhmet's life, who always believed that death could take away from him "only a mortal body, and he himself would never disappear," and everything he did would become the property of descendants.

Historical background. During the years of the "Great Terror," A. Baitursynov was (again) arrested in October 1937 and shot on December 8, 1938, as a "class enemy." Only decades later, in 1988, the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan rehabilitated A. Baitursynov for lack of corpus delicti in his actions.

The film was created by Folklore media studio with the support of the NAO State Center for Support of National Cinema and commissioned by the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan.
