Zhyl Basy: Kazakhstan celebrates the main day of Nauryz

On March 22, Kazakhstan celebrates "Zhyl Basy," the ninth day of the national Nauryznama decade, symbolizing the arrival of a new year, the renewal of nature, abundance, and the beginning of a new life cycle. This is the main day of the Nauryz celebration, which particularly vividly expresses the ideas of unity, generosity, respect for traditions, and the desire for renewal.
The program will center on events organized by national cultural organizations. The National Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan will host an interactive exhibition using artificial intelligence, "Aqyldy Nauryz." The Center for the Rapprochement of Cultures will host an open day, "22 Nauryz – Ulystyn Uly Kunі!", and the Kalibek Kuanyshbayev Kazakh National Music and Drama Theater will host a concert, "Kosh Keldіn, Az-Nauryz." In Astana, the main festive events will take place at the EXPO venues, the "Kazakh Eli" monument, the city square, and other areas of the city, featuring concerts, fairs, ethnocultural programs, and national games. In Almaty, large-scale festive concerts, theatrical performances, and public festivities are planned at the city's central venues. In Shymkent, concert programs featuring creative groups and performers will continue on the city's main stages, while ethnic festivals, festivals, exhibitions, gastronomic venues, and mass public festivities will be held in the regions.

Thus, "Zhyl Basy" as part of Nauryznam marks the culmination of the entire festive decade, uniting traditions, culture, and modern formats in an atmosphere of joy, hospitality, and renewal.
