The International Festival "Traditions and the Modern World" was opened at the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
This event introduced the city's residents and guests to the rich and unique world of national clothing and ethnic design, becoming an important cultural platform demonstrating the harmony of traditional and modern art. A special feature of the festival was that it brought together designers, folk art masters, ethnographers and young artists interested in traditions in a single space.
The main goal of the festival is to preserve cultural heritage and present traditions in modern art with a new interpretation. Along with the popularization of national and historical costumes, the event provided an opportunity to show traditions and values through new forms and images.
The festival was attended by representatives of various cultures, which allowed for a broad discussion of the history and meaning of national clothing. Designers and craftsmen had the opportunity to creatively interpret traditional elements and create new images.
The festival program began with a vernissage and master classes in traditional art and ethno-design, and then continued with a grand opening and fashion show - a fashion show of national and youth clothing.
At the end of the event, the festival participants were awarded diplomas.
