The Republican Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired hosted a presentation of the fairy tale novel "Black Star" by Bakhytzhan Momyshuly and Yuri Serebryansky. The book is published in Braille and audio format, allowing readers with visual impairments to experience the work in an accessible format.
Library staff and readers participated in the event. Schoolchildren were offered an interactive lesson, "The Secret of the Black Star," and a blitz game, "One Question - One Answer."
The presentation introduced participants to the authors' works and helped spark interest in reading among young people. Publishing the novel in special formats expands access to literature for blind and visually impaired readers and promotes an inclusive cultural environment.
