Students of the Astana Opera International Opera Academy are preparing for the premiere of the comic opera "The Bell, or The Apothecary's Wedding Night."

The production will take place in the theater at the end of April.

For the first time, the soloists will work with the famous opera teacher, pianist and conductor Alessandro Benigni. The coach pianist was specially invited from Italy to conduct a master class.

During the training, Benigni will emphasize, work with soloists on phrasing and stylistics of "bel canto."

Alessandro Benigni has been teaching at the Academy of Lyric Arts in Osimo (Italy) for over 20 years and has worked with world opera performers. As a pianist and music director, he has collaborated with famous theaters and festivals in Europe, Japan and other countries.

Now the maestro will share his invaluable wealth of knowledge with Kazakh soloists.
