"Thirty years have flown by like a moment. I have many achievements that I can be proud of. During these years, I performed in 50 opera productions, performed many Kazakh folk songs that are part of my soul, participated in numerous concerts - this is luck that does not befall every classical singer. Of course, such successes come only through hard work and diligent searches. Therefore, I can proudly say that I am celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of my creative activity in my homeland with a large baggage. A person who has a dream will definitely achieve his goal, and therefore I am proud of myself, I think that thanks to many years of work I have reached real heights," - Maira Mukhamedkyzy shared.
Maira Mukhamedkyzy not only demonstrates the highest professionalism, but also inspires young vocalists to follow their dream. Her soprano, which is subject to diverse roles, sounds on the best world stages. She has performed in theaters in Paris (she was the first Kazakh soloist of the Paris "Grand Opera"!), Beijing, Moscow, Washington, New York, London, Istanbul, Delhi, Seoul, Vienna, Budapest, but the Kazakh stages have always occupied a special place in her heart. The concert in Astana will become not only a symbol of her long service to art, but also a declaration of love for Kazakh culture and its people.
The concert program prepared for the anniversary was thought out to the smallest detail by the artist herself. Guests of the evening will be able to enjoy both the best arias from the world opera heritage, and works by Kazakh composers, which acquire their uniqueness in the performance of Maira. Among them are the Kazakh folk song "Agazhay Altai", "Brazilian Bachiana N5" by Heitor Villa-Lobos, "It was early spring" by Pyotr Tchaikovsky and much more.
"The Astana Opera Theater is of particular importance to me.
