From May 21 to 23, the 'Khalyk Aueny' concert and touring project was held for the first time in Kazakhstan. Over three days, the project covered 17 regions of the country, and concert programs were attended by about 20 thousand spectators. On the final day, the performances gathered approximately 7 thousand people.
As part of the tour, leading creative groups and renowned cultural figures presented residents of the regions with the best examples of national and contemporary art. Concerts were held not only in district centers, but also in monocity towns and rural settlements. This expanded access for residents of the regions to high-level artistic concert programs.
The project involved leading orchestras, choral, dance, folk, pop, and theatrical ensembles of the country, as well as soloists from national cultural institutions. The concert programs brought together different art forms – from folk instrumental and symphonic performances to choreographic productions, musicals, traditional songs, and modern pop music.
In several regions, creative meetings and master classes with artists were also held. These formats allowed not only for the presentation of concert programs but also for expanding the live dialogue between art figures and residents of the regions.
The 'Khalyk Aueny' project aims to increase the accessibility of cultural values, popularize national spiritual heritage, and strengthen cultural ties between the country's regions.
