Charity exhibition “Zhanarymdagy Zharyk kun” was held in Astana

An exhibition of works by visually impaired authors, "Zhanarymdagy Zharyk Kun", was held in Astana. The event became part of the summer cultural and entertainment project "Aksu Tolkyny", which is held jointly with the Kazakh Society of the Blind.
The exhibition features more than 30 works. According to the organizers, each picture reflects the mood of the participants of the event and expresses a wave of internal experiences.
The purpose of the exhibition is to expand the capabilities of talented citizens with health problems, increase the creative potential of the participants, adapt people to art regardless of their physical abilities by developing tactile perception, imagination, fine motor skills, and strengthening self-confidence.
As part of the implementation of the President's order to build an inclusive society, systemic measures to support citizens with disabilities are being implemented in the country. In particular, this is an increase in benefits, the creation of jobs, the adaptation of housing and social infrastructure, and other important steps.
Currently, the public association includes 67 visually impaired people.
