The cultural event "Dombyra Party" took place on the Liangmahe River embankment in Beijing, organized by the Cultural Center of Kazakhstan in honor of National Dombra Day.
The open-air event featured performances of works by Kurmangazy, Abai, and A. Zheldibay, as well as folk kuis. Young Kazakh and Chinese dombra players, students, representatives of the Kazakh diaspora, local residents, and fans of national art participated in the event.
One of the highlights was a performance by Chinese children led by dombra teacher Liu Hui. The young musicians performed Kazakh kuis, demonstrating the growing interest in dombra and Kazakhstan's musical heritage beyond their borders.
The "Dombyra Party" event aims to popularize Kazakh culture in China and strengthen cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries. The Cultural Center of Kazakhstan in Beijing plans to make it an annual tradition.
