Astana continues to accept applications for the Roza Baglanova International Vocal Competition, which will bring together young pop vocalists from Kazakhstan and foreign countries.

This large-scale creative project aims to popularize the legacy of the People's Artist of Kazakhstan and the USSR, Khalyk Kaharmany, the legendary singer Roza Baglanova, as well as to support young performers and develop the best traditions of national and world vocal art.

The competition is organized by the Roza Baglanova State Academic Concert Organization "Qazaqconcert" with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Pop vocalists aged 18 to 35 on the date of the competition's start are invited to participate. Participants can be laureates of republican and international competitions, participants in television vocal projects, as well as students of higher educational institutions in the field of culture and art from Kazakhstan and countries near and far abroad.

One of the key conditions of the competition is the performance of works from Roza Baglanova's repertoire at a high professional level.

Applications will be accepted until April 8, 2026. The online selection stage will take place from April 8 to April 17. The second round will be held offline on May 13. The final and Gala Concert are scheduled for May 14, 2026.
