Arman Kyrykbayev, Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, met with Daniil Shuleiko, CEO of Yango Group.
The parties discussed developing cooperation in creative industries, digital technologies, artificial intelligence, education, and the promotion of Kazakh content.
Particular attention was paid to promoting domestic cinema on digital platforms. Discussions included expanding the presence of new Kazakh films on Kinopoisk, providing information support for film premieres, and including domestic films in the platform's thematic selections and recommendations.
The parties also discussed joint efforts to promote legislative initiatives to combat piracy and protect copyright, the use of AI in art and film, the digital transformation of creative industries, and the development of modern digital competencies.
In the educational sphere, the possibility of Yandex Qazaqstan experts and mentors participating in events organized by the Creative Industries Development Fund was considered. Arman Kyrykbayev also noted the implementation of Yandex Qazaqstan's "Creative Qazaqstan" project on the Khabar and Qazaqstan TV channels, dedicated to Kazakhstan's modern creative economy.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their interest in further developing cooperation in film, creative industries, AI, digital education, and the promotion of Kazakhstani content.
