The event is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding poetess, writer, laureate of the State Prize of Kazakhstan Fariza Ongarsynova.

The book reveals the creative and life path of the poetess, her work as a journalist and editor in authoritative publications of the country, as well as public activities as a deputy of the Mazhilis. Memories of her friends and colleagues are presented. They shared bright moments from the life of one of the most prominent figures in domestic literature and culture, who was recognized as the "queen of Kazakh poetry".

"Fariza-apai was a person who equally loved and supported everyone who loved poetry, regardless of their origin or place of birth. I am infinitely grateful to fate for the fact that in my life I experienced the warmth and care of this great personality," - said the author of the book, Aliya Dauletbaeva.

The poetess's grandson, Aslan Almasuly, also spoke at the presentation. He shared warm memories of his legendary grandmother. Students of the capital's school-gymnasium No. 77 named after Fariza Ongarsynova spoke about the life and work of the poetess, and also recited her poems.
