The sound of the dombra united the spirit of the nation

In honor of National Dombra Day, a large-scale nationwide creative event was held at the initiative of the Creative Industries Development Fund, encompassing all 20 regions of Kazakhstan. The project's main goal was to popularize national art, preserve and promote the traditions of the Kazakh kyui, and present the country's rich cultural heritage in a modern format.
As part of the event, each region presented its own performing arts school and unique musical heritage. Videos created by project participants reflected the distinctiveness of the regions, their cultural characteristics, and the richness of their traditions, demonstrating that the art of dombra remains an integral part of national identity and continues to resonate with modern audiences.
The project included videos featuring professional kyui players, as well as creative video works developed using artificial intelligence technologies. Modern digital tools made it possible to present national culture in a new way, preserving its authentic spirit and regional characteristics. Each video aimed to convey to viewers the depth of the Kazakh kuy's philosophy and its spiritual value.
This initiative once again demonstrated the vitality of national art and opened up new opportunities for promoting cultural heritage in the digital space. The project also united representatives of the country's creative community around the shared idea of preserving and promoting national identity.
All videos and creative works produced as part of the project are available on social media using the hashtags #QazaqCreative and #QazaqCreativeDombyra.
