On August 29–30, 2026, the Qazaq Creative Hub in Astana hosted a fair of creative industries from the Turkestan region as part of the national Creative Aimaq project.

Fifty creative artists from the region presented their products and projects. Visitors and residents of the capital could purchase souvenirs, jewelry, traditional carpets, modern designer clothing, dombras and traditional horse tack, as well as felt, wood, and ceramic items, decorative panels, silk scarves, skullcaps, körpeshe, and bags.
Over the two days, approximately 5,200 people visited the fair. Direct sales of creative products amounted to 21 million tenge.
The business and cultural program included master classes, presentations of startups and innovative projects using artificial intelligence and digital technologies. Guests also enjoyed a fashion show and a concert. Participation in the fair allowed regional creatives to present their products to a Moscow audience, establish direct contacts with potential buyers and partners, and increase brand awareness.
The "Creative Aimaq" project continues. Zhambyl Oblast will be the next to present its products.
