The National Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan is hosting an anniversary solo exhibition by illustrator, designer, theatrical costume designer, and doll maker Gulfarida Dzhaniyarova, titled "My Beautiful World."
The exhibition features 50 paintings and 20 handmade dolls, exploring the main directions of the artist's work. A significant portion of the exhibition is comprised of floral arrangements, as well as works dedicated to national culture, Kazakh traditions, historical costume, and wildlife.
A separate section is presented by handmade dolls, distinguished by the detailed design, costumes, and embellishments. The influence of theater, which has been a significant part of the artist's creative life, is evident in these works.
Gulfarida Dzhaniyarova graduated from the painting department of the N.V. Gogol Almaty Art College. Over the years, she worked as a theatrical costume designer, design artist, book illustrator, and decorative and applied arts artist. The artist became the first representative of Kazakhstan to join the International Organization of Art Dolls. Her works have been exhibited internationally and are held in private collections.
