The BIRLIK ensemble held a concert titled "BIRLIK – Unity" at the Roza Baglanova Kazakh Concert Hall. The evening was dedicated to Kazakhstan's People's Unity Day, International Dance Day, and the legacy of the legendary Kazakh dancer and founder of the national professional dance art, Shara Zhienkulova.
The audience enjoyed choreographic performances reflecting the cultural diversity and traditions of different peoples. The program included Kazakh, Russian, Tajik, Uzbek, Turkmen, and other dances. Each performance was prepared with an emphasis on the ethnographic precision of movement, musical accompaniment, and costumes.
The concert featured the Gulder Ballet Ensemble, the Naz State Dance Theater, the Vainakh Ensemble, the Indian Cultural Center, and the Nursulemai Choreographic School. The BIRLIK ensemble was created as an international group that professionally studies and performs dances from around the world to live instrumental accompaniment. Its activities are aimed at introducing the younger generation of Kazakhstanis to the art, culture, and traditions of various nationalities.
