
An international training seminar, "Digitalization and Development of Museums in the Republic of Kazakhstan," was held in Kazakhstan, bringing together museum specialists from across the country. The educational program was implemented as part of Kazakh-Turkish cooperation in the museum sector with the participation of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA).
Over the course of five days, more than 100 specialists from approximately 60 museums in Kazakhstan participated in lectures, practical training, workshops, and master classes. The program focused on the digital transformation of museum activities, the preservation and management of cultural heritage, the implementation of modern digital technologies, collection management, visitor interaction, and new approaches to museum management.
Turkish experts presented modern models of museum digitalization, innovative solutions, and international experience in the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage. Particular attention was paid to practical tools that can be applied in the work of Kazakhstani museums. The seminar served as a platform for exchanging professional experiences and strengthening Kazakh-Turkish cooperation in the museum sector. Its aim was to enhance the competencies of museum specialists and develop the digital potential of Kazakhstan's museums.
Upon completion of the training, participants received standard certificates.
