Kazakhstan and Tatarstan are expanding inter-museum cooperation.

The National Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan participated in the IV International Forum "SPROUTS: Russia and China – Mutually Beneficial Cooperation," held in Kazan.
At the forum, representatives of the museum community, scientific, and educational institutions from Kazakhstan, Russia, and China discussed issues of cultural heritage preservation and the development of international cooperation.
During the forum, the Kazakh delegation presented a report entitled "From Historical Routes to Modern Partnership: Museum Cooperation between Kazakhstan and China in the Context of the Heritage of the Great Silk Road."
Particular attention was paid to the role of museums in studying and popularizing the heritage of the Great Silk Road, as well as the development
of modern forms of scientific and professional interaction between cultural institutions.
One of the key outcomes of the Kazakh delegation's participation was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the National Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The agreement provides for the development of joint exhibition, research, educational, and cultural projects, the exchange of experience, and the further strengthening of professional ties between the museums of the two countries.
