Kazakhstan is expanding cooperation with South Korea in the field of creative industries

Kazakhstan continues to develop international cooperation with South Korea in the creative industries. In Seoul, the Kazakh delegation held a series of meetings with representatives of government agencies and leading Korean companies aimed at strengthening the bilateral partnership, exchanging experiences, and implementing joint projects.
One of the key meetings was between Erlan Kanalimov, Chairman of the Board of the Creative Industries Development Fund, and Kim Dae-hyun, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of South Korea. The parties discussed government policy for developing the creative economy, mechanisms for supporting creative entrepreneurship, and promoting national content in global markets.
An important outcome was the Fund's agreement to prepare and sign a memorandum of cooperation with the Korea Creative Content Development Agency (KOCCA). The document provides for the implementation of joint projects in film, music, and other areas of the creative economy, educational programs, exchange of experiences, and joint analytical research.
During the visit, the Kazakh delegation also held meetings with the leadership of MBC, one of Asia's largest media corporations, and the global music company HYBE. The parties discussed the development of joint content production, the commercialization of intellectual property, the use of artificial intelligence, the development of digital platforms, and the promotion of creative products in the global market.
The implementation of these agreements will take Kazakhstan and South Korea's cooperation in the creative industries to a new level, expand international opportunities for domestic creators and creative entrepreneurs, and facilitate the promotion of Kazakhstan's creative products in global markets.
