Renowned Kazakhstani footballer and Chelsea player Dastan Satpayev and popular travel blogger Dastan Mukhamedrakhim (ByDastann) have become global ambassadors for the International Year of Volunteers.
The UN General Assembly declared 2026 the International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development, following the initiative of Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The project has received broad international support and united millions of people around the values ​​of mutual assistance, solidarity, and civic responsibility.
The project aims to develop a culture of volunteerism, increase civic engagement, and strengthen the role of volunteers in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
