In Kazakhstan, a republican campaign "Night of Museums" was held in honor of International Museum Day. More than 60 thousand people took part in the event across the country.

As part of the campaign, the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted theatrical excursions "Living Museum", during which participants got acquainted with historical characters and saw rare exhibits. In addition, an open-air concert, master classes, and educational interactive games were organized for guests.

The National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan implemented the "Star Guide" project, where excursions were conducted by famous personalities and public figures. Alongside this, a technological show was held, as well as interactive programs and a craft fair.

The campaign also took place in museum-reserves, where interactive excursions, thematic exhibitions, quizzes, as well as ethnographic and educational programs were organized for visitors. Participants also took part in open-air events and night excursions, during which they got acquainted with the rich national and archaeological heritage of Kazakhstan.
