30,000 spectators watched the ballet "Spartacus" by the Abay Theatre in Aspendos

The Abai Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theatre staged Aram Khachaturian's ballet "Spartacus" at the 33rd International Opera and Ballet Festival in Aspendos, Turkey.

The performance was watched by 30,000 spectators.

The Kazakh company presented the ballet "Spartacus," staged by choreographer Zaurbek Raibayev, on the stage of the famous ancient theater. The Abai Theatre attended the festival at the invitation of the General Directorate of State Opera and Ballet Theatres of Turkey.

The main roles were performed by Arkhat Ashirbek, Aiman Yegisbayeva, Syrym Ayupov, and Zhanel Tukeyeva. The performance also featured the theater's ballet dancers and the symphony orchestra led by Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Nurzhan Baibusinov.

Zaurbek Raibayev's production of "Spartacus" is one of the notable works in the choreographer's creative career. Productions staged by the choreographer hold a special place in the development of domestic ballet art and continue to be preserved in the theater's repertoire today.
