On the eve of National Dombra Day, the Creative Industries Development Fund implemented a new project aimed at promoting national cultural heritage. The music label Qazaq Creative Production, created by the Fund, released its first music release in partnership with Key Distribution Services, a division of Key Entertainment.
As part of the project, 10 selected kyuis by the great Kazakh kyui player and composer Kurmangazy Sagyrbaiuly were re-recorded with a modern sound and compiled into one album. The album is now available on leading global digital music platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, Yandex Music, and other streaming services.
This project is an important step in promoting traditional Kazakh kyui on the international digital stage and popularizing national musical heritage among a global audience.
