Qazaq Creative and The Garrison have signed a cooperation agreement to help creative startups enter international markets

As part of efforts to develop Kazakhstan’s creative industries on the international stage, Qazaq Creative and South Korean company The Garrison have established a strategic partnership. A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed by Erlan Kanalimov, Chairman of the Board of the Creative Industries Development Fund, and Jaeyeong Park, Co-Founder and CEO of The Garrison.

The main goal of the partnership is to create opportunities for Kazakhstani creative startups to enter international markets, expand their access to investment opportunities, and strengthen professional ties between Kazakhstan and South Korea.

Under the memorandum, the partners plan to launch acceleration and mentoring programs, prepare creative projects for international markets, adapt them to global requirements, and support their further scaling. Participants will also receive assistance in establishing connections with international investors, experts, and global partners.

The first joint initiative will be implemented as a pilot program. The participants will be selected jointly by the partners and will then receive support in developing their projects and building strategies for entering international markets.

As part of the program, particular attention will be paid to improving business models and products, adapting them to international audiences, identifying scaling opportunities, and establishing connections with potential partners.

At the same time, the key feature of the program is that it will focus not only on acquiring knowledge and experience, but above all on achieving practical results. Kazakhstani creators should have the opportunity to take their projects to the next level, find international partners, attract investment, and introduce their products to audiences abroad.

Cooperation with The Garrison opens up new opportunities for integrating Kazakhstani creative projects into the global ecosystem. The company works with international investors, venture capital funds, accelerators, and other stakeholders in the startup ecosystem, supporting projects in their expansion into new markets.

Taking into account South Korea’s experience in creative industries, technology, and startups, the partnership will enable local projects to gain a deeper understanding of new markets, adapt to international requirements, and expand their presence beyond Kazakhstan.

For Qazaq Creative, developing such partnerships provides an opportunity to showcase the potential of Kazakhstani creative products to international audiences and help local talent enter the global professional community.

Going forward, the partners intend to develop joint programs and projects, as well as expand creative and business ties between Kazakhstan and South Korea.

For Kazakhstani creators, the international market should become not a distant prospect, but a real avenue for growth — supported by systematic preparation, professional guidance, and reliable international partners.
