International Opera Academy Astana Opera has started its third academic season

The vocalists passed a three-stage audition, where their professional skills were assessed by famous masters of the opera stage. Among the jury members are the famous teacher, Professor Dmitry Vdovin, the sought-after opera teacher, pianist and conductor Alessandro Benigni, Professor, famous opera singer, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Azamat Zheltyrguzov, Italian conductor Giuseppe Aquaviva and Professor from Italy Alla Simonishvili. Each of them made a significant contribution to the process of selecting the best performers ready to immerse themselves in a rich educational process.

As a result of the auditions, 10 academists were accepted to the International Opera Academy Astana Opera. The new group includes talented performers - Asylzat Nugymanova, Dilnaz Omarkhanova, Ruzilya Tyumentseva (Russia), Sara Sadygulova, Aigerim Temirbekova (soprano), Vasilisa Savkina (Russia, mezzo-soprano), Ablai Beken, Belal Қuanysh (tenor), Munkhtuvshin Khorolgarav (baritone, Mongolia), Dias Orysbay (bass).

"For me, entering the academy is an incredible opportunity to grow as an artist. Studying under the guidance of outstanding masters is an invaluable experience. Each lesson, each rehearsal opens up new horizons in vocal technique and stagecraft. Here we will not just learn to sing – we will learn to understand music, live it on stage and share with the public something much more than sounds and notes," - said baritone Munkhtuvshin Khorolgarav.

The soloists are waiting for not only in-depth vocal classes, but also master classes from recognized masters of opera art, including foreign teachers. The academists will receive invaluable experience working on stage: they will perform at both venues of the Astana Opera Theater - the stages of the Chamber and Grand Halls, which allows them to fully immerse themselves in the atmosphere of a professional opera theater and test themselves in a variety of parts in productions.
