On August 1–2, the Qazaq Creative Hub in Astana hosted the Abai region's "Tungyshtar Mekeni – Kieli Abai Elii" (Creative Fair of the Abai Region) fair as part of the national Creative Aimaq project.

Visitors were presented with 842 original works, including 772 decorative and applied arts items and 70 paintings. The exhibition brought together the work of artisans, artists, and designers from the region, including felt, wood, and leather goods, national and contemporary clothing, jewelry, musical instruments, home decor, souvenirs, and paintings. Guests were also able to discover the region's gastronomic brands, including traditional sweets.

An important part of the program included displays from the Abai Museum and Library and the Regional Museum of History and Local Lore, introducing visitors to the region's rich historical and cultural heritage. Promising IT projects and developments in artificial intelligence were presented at the Abai IT Valley.

Over the two days, the fair was attended by approximately 1,500 residents and visitors of the capital. Following the event, artisans and representatives of the region's creative industries sold original products worth over 4.8 million tenge.
The national Creative Aimaq project, implemented with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, aims to develop creative industries, promote the cultural potential of the regions, support domestic creators, and create new opportunities for creative entrepreneurship.
