
The Zhetisu Region hosted the “Unity and Harmony” Festival, bringing together creative groups and performers from Almaty, Taraz, and various districts of the region.
The event provided a platform for audiences to discover the cultures and traditions of different ethnic groups living in Kazakhstan. The program featured folk songs and dances, folklore and choreographic performances, traditional games, and elements of cultural rituals.
The festival showcased Kazakh, Russian, Tatar, Ukrainian, and Caucasian dance performances, along with folk songs and traditional Kazakh instrumental pieces performed by young dombra players. Performers of different generations, both adults and children, shared the same stage.
The festival concluded with a joint performance by all participants, symbolizing unity and friendship among representatives of different cultures.
