The ensemble "BIRLIK" will present a choreographic performance-concert "Өмір – қазына"

On March 13, the Roza Baglanova State Academic Concert Organization "Kazakh Concert" will host a choreographic performance and concert by the BIRLIK ensemble entitled "Omіr – Kazyna."
The new production is a scenic interpretation of the image of women in Kazakh culture and reflects the main stages of life through the language of dance, music, and theatrical performance. The concert program centers on themes of generational continuity, spiritual memory, and the value of human life.
The program includes the choreographic compositions "Duniege Kelu," "Kindіk Kesu," "Shіldehana," "Mahabbat Sahnasi," "Kuda Tүsu," "Sәukele. Kalyңdyқ. Kasyz Zhasauy," "Kyz Kazatu," and "Toy." "Betashar," "May Kuyu. Sälem salu," "Aksaqal batasy," "Koshtasu. Aqqu," "Mängilik," "Zher-Ana," and other numbers.
Musical accompaniment will be provided by the Kazakh State Folklore Ensemble "Astana sazy." The event will also feature the ethno-folklore ensemble "Zhoshy" and the state theater "ASTANA MUSICAL."
The production explores the role of women in traditional culture, combining national rituals, musical heritage, and choreographic art in a single stage space. Through artistic images, the audience will be presented with the heroine's journey from birth to eternity. The BIRLIK ensemble was created with the goal of developing an international creative group that professionally performs folk dances of the world with live instrumental accompaniment, while also introducing the younger generation to the cultures of various ethnic groups.
The ensemble's artistic director is Anel Marabayeva. Her repertoire includes approximately 30 folk dances reflecting the richness of cultural heritage. Her creative work includes performances on leading stages in Kazakhstan and abroad, including in Washington, D.C. and New York.
