The first international Nomadic Art festival was held in Almaty.

In Almaty, as part of the Nauryznama decade, dedicated to March 16 – the Day of Culture and National Traditions, the international festival and scientific-practical conference "Nomadic Art: Global Image of Steppe Culture" were held for the first time.

The program included a scientific and practical conference "National Heritage – Amanat of Generations: Synergy of Museum Artifacts and Ethnodesign," a display of ethnic collections by domestic and foreign designers, an international exhibition of masters of decorative and applied art, and master classes on ancient craft technologies.

The project aimed at popularizing nomadic culture, developing modern ethnodesign, and strengthening international creative ties. The festival brought together museum heritage, craft art, fashion, and modern creative industries.

Special attention was paid to the presentation of the cities of Taraz, Turkestan, and Almaty, which are part of the World Craft Cities network. Guests were also presented with an ethnographic exhibition, modern art installations, and interactive platforms for felt making, ceramics, jewelry, and bone carving.

As part of the festival, B2B meetings were held with experts from the World Craft Council, resulting in the signing of strategic agreements aimed at promoting Central Asian artisans in international markets.
