The cultural project "Khalyk Aueni" (Halive with Music) has launched in Kazakhstan. On the first day, approximately 6,000 spectators attended concert programs across the country's regions.
On Culture and Art Workers' Day, leading creative groups presented their first concert programs in 17 regions of the country. As part of the concert and tour, these artists met with residents of district centers and rural communities, presenting the best examples of national and contemporary music.
The program included folk songs, traditional music, contemporary pop music, and instrumental compositions. The "Khalyk Aueni" project aims to popularize national spiritual heritage, promote folk musical culture, and increase access to cultural treasures for residents of the regions. Particular attention is paid to communities where such events are crucial for expanding citizens' access to the arts.
The project was made possible with the support of JSC Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan. The concert and tour will run until May 23. In total, 51 concerts are planned across the country as part of the project.
