A traveling exhibition, "Botai – Culture of the Great Steppe," was held in Kostanay as part of the city's 147th anniversary celebrations.
The exhibition featured 139 archaeological artifacts—stone, bone, and ceramics. Visitors were also presented with themed artwork and a model of the ancient settlement.
Exhibition guests learned about the everyday life, crafts, and culture of the Eneolithic population, as well as the history of horse domestication. Archaeological materials allowed for a more detailed understanding of the significance of this heritage in the history of the Great Steppe.
The exhibition was also attended by foreign specialists studying ancient cultures.
The program included master classes, educational and cultural events dedicated to the history and archaeological heritage of Kazakhstan.
