The 14th International Book Fair "Kitobi Dushanbe" opened in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, bringing together representatives of the publishing industry, libraries, writers, and literature enthusiasts from more than 10 countries.
The event aims to promote reading culture, develop publishing, and strengthen international cultural cooperation.
The fair featured publications from Kazakhstani publishers, including "Edifying Words of Abai Kunanbayuly," "Aliya Moldagulova: An Immortal Feat," "Kazakh Traditions and Customs," and other works.
A conference was held as part of the fair, where Akmaral Baltashkyzy, an employee of the National State Book Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan, presented a report on the promotion of reading and shared Kazakhstan's experience in this area.
The fair served as a platform for exchanging experiences, promoting national literature, and expanding cooperation between publishing houses from different countries.
