An exhibition of national clothing has opened at the National Central Museum.

The National Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan opened the exhibition "National Clothing – A Vivid Reflection of National Culture," timed to coincide with National Clothing Day as part of the Nauryznama decade.
The exhibition introduces visitors to the national clothing of the Kazakh people as an important part of their cultural heritage. Through traditional costume, the history, lifestyle, aesthetics, and spiritual values of the people are revealed. Particular attention is paid to how clothing reflected a person's age, social status, and marital status.
The exhibition includes tours, meetings with ethnographers and ethnic designers, and a fashion show featuring national clothing. Museum exhibits, clothing-making tools, and archival photographs conveying the look of their era are also on display. Some of the images have been processed using artificial intelligence. Using QR codes, visitors can compare the original images with their updated versions and access additional information.
